Do you want to contribute to the continued development and growth of the leading sports betting media group? We are looking for a Head of Delivery to structure and drive the development of Media and Core Sites in Better Collective.
The role
As Head of Delivery in Better Collective's Product & Technology Development department, you will be responsible for a portfolio of projects that deliver value to our Media and Core sites teams. This position requires an ability to understand and convey the strategic goals set by the stakeholders of Better Collective's Media Partnership sites as well as a general knowledge about developing high performing websites with an SEO focus.
The Media and Core sites contribute to one of the key strategic development areas of the group for the next year: expanding our global footprint in Google's SERPs.
You will work closely with various stakeholders from business and technology based in our Copenhagen office and our two development centres in Lodz (Poland) and Nis (Serbia). Some travelling is therefore to be expected from time to time, although the vast majority of the work can be handled online. We prefer face-to-face communication whenever possible, but you can also expect to use Jira, Slack, and Google Hangout a lot in your daily routine.
Responsibilities
Work with the Business Owner to help translate business requirements into high-level roadmaps.
Work with the delivery teams to break down epics into tasks.
Prioritise backlog to maximise continuous delivery of business value.
Communicate goals, priorities, deadlines, etc. to stakeholders.
Systematically involve relevant stakeholders such as experts from our UX, Digital Intelligence, or Tech teams.
Bring in your previous experience within online marketing, helping the squad ideate, guide a decision-making process, and approach each backlog item with an MVP approach.
Requirements
You have experience in project managing web and software development using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
You have experience with user tracking methods.
You have a positive attitude that helps everyone perform better and faster.
You are a strong communicator of everything from high-level goals to small details.
You are a strong meeting facilitator.
You are able to break down complex problems into simple steps.
You are able to flag risks and communicate them confidently.
You are able to get a team to rally and focus on delivery goals.
You speak tech lingo fluently and terms such as "release branch", "single page application", "API", "cache purge", or "server-side rendering" don't scare you.
You are familiar with Technical SEO.
