As we expand our team, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Business Development (HBD) to help grow the company.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a Head of Business Development (HBD), with proven experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. By joining our team, you will play a crucial role in implementing the business development plans of the company, driving the company's growth and expanding our reach in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector. This role will imply direct interactions with the CEO and other members of the Executive Team for BD activities, and a close contact with the scientific team, and is expected to be hybrid.KEY RESPONSABILITIESIdentifying and engaging partners for co-development and/or out-licensing of our technologies.Liaise with the scientific team to maximize the commercial potential of the internal R&D activities and align them with the company's business goals.Driving the integration of new projects and implementing business development strategies aligned with general objectives, to enhance the company's portfolio.Liaise with the financial team in the design of budgets and definition of commercial milestones, assuring the alignment with the scientific activities.Actively searching for new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company's reach and impact.Representing the company at industry events, as needed, to establish and strengthen business relationships.Contributing to the overall growth and success of Exogenus Therapeutics through effective networking and relationship-building.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSProven success in business development roles within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.Scientific background in a relevant discipline (e.g., PhD in Biology, Biochemistry).MBA will be valued but is not required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English and Portuguese).WHAT WE VALUE AND OFFERAt Exogenus Therapeutics, we are not just a team, we are a family that values innovation, collaboration, and the drive to revolutionize healthcare.
