We are looking for someone with talent, drive and a sense of humor to join our team as Handyman at our amazing hotel-with-a-difference in Porto! We're looking for someone who can start by January 2025.
Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept:
Together with the Asset Manager and Hotel Manager, you will be involved in everything related to maintenance and technical issues, both inside and outside of the hotel. You are super handy and the first point of contact for guests and team members when an issue or malfunction is reported. You find it important to have fun during your work! Working as a Handyman means that no two days are the same. Some days you will conduct checks and repairs in the hotel, while other days you will fine-tune a range of technical activities and liaise with internal and external parties.

What You'll Do
Be the first point of contact for maintenance issues for guests and colleagues.
Perform all relevant repair work in and around the hotel.
Conduct maintenance checks.
Liaise with internal and external parties regarding technical and maintenance topics.
Who You Are
You are capable of prioritizing and coordinating tasks.
You enjoy connecting with guests and colleagues.
You are reliable and can work independently.
You are flexible and can work outside of office hours in case of emergencies.
You are eager to learn and love sharing your experiences with others.
You have LBO/MBO-level working and thinking skills, with additional relevant training in maintenance/construction (you possess 'VCA-basis' certificates).
You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role (hotel environment preferred).
You are social and have a guest-oriented mindset; you enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds and want to work in an informal yet ambitious environment.
You have a good command of Portuguese and can manage in English.
You enjoy having fun with your colleagues and the guests!
You are legally allowed to work in Portugal.
