About the Demand Generation Team
After becoming the first helpdesk for ecommerce, Gorgias is ready to uplevel our growth engine to scale to $100M in ARR over the next couple of years. One of the most significant growth drivers will be expanding our new customer acquisition by scaling our demand generation efforts.
That's where you come in.
You'll join a data-driven demand generation team to help scale the growth engine and hit ambitious targets. You'll do this by developing automated and scalable revenue operations processes, running experiments, and pushing the envelope to unlock scale and ROI.
The team itself is composed of two main squads:

Marketing Intelligence is responsible for growth experiments ideation, campaign management, data analysis, copy creation, AB testing and stakeholder management. You'll work with Calvin Leung and Rory Conroy.
Operations Intelligence is responsible for developing scalable systems and fostering autonomy among non-technical individuals to enhance revenue-centric projects. They own the whole funnel of the data pipeline from extraction, ingestion, cleaning and activation. They are also responsible for data analysis and building prediction models. You'll work with Guillaume Aubert (manager), Victor Barre and Goncalo Jardim.

What You'll Do

Drive pipeline: You'll develop and execute revenue growth experiments to hit aggressive targets. You'll obsess over new ways to scale and unlock ROI.
Architect, automate and build scalable revenue operation processes systems that include data extraction, cloud functions, enrichment functions, detection of buying intent signals, and optimization of existing outreach engines.
Develop and maintain ETL processes for ingesting and transforming data from various sources as well as developing data extraction functions.
Collaborate with teams to ideate and implement new experiments that help drive revenue growth.
Create and monitor reporting dashboards for all teams, and conduct continuous data analyses to improve core processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues with our growing infrastructure, including data quality, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
Analyze key KPIs to identify areas of improvement, and develop and lead strategic initiatives to improve business metrics.

Example of projects you'll work on

Build buying intent signals by setting up a cloud function to extract data from various sources, such as new hires, competitors' installed technology, and spikes in social community activity.
Build a copywriter engine where you'll create several workflows between AI model and our system to craft the best emails directly impacting Gorgias revenue.
Implement and develop acquisition tools, such as MeetAlfred, while finding a workaround to perform custom actions that are not allowed due to API limitations by extracting data in real time through API network calls.
Create an internal App leveraging our data to help non-technical people (business team) to trigger specific workflows of companies/contact enrichment, enrolment, …

Who You Are

A hacker's mentality with structured problem-solving skills. You obsess over finding novel ways to drive revenue and eke out as much yield as possible from a given funnel. We place a big emphasis on creativity matched with the ability to break down an ambiguous problem into solvable components.
You should have at least 2+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL & Python (or JS).
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
You have a natural fit for both technical and business challenges. We are building technology solutions to solve business-oriented challenges, so strong business acumen is needed for the role.
Entrepreneurial mindset. You will be building everything from the ground up and will have to wear many hats, all while operating independently.
