This is a very fast-paced role that manages IT procurement as a direct spend, with a significant impact on both the company's Top-Line revenue growth and Bottom-Line cost savings. The IT procurement team plays a critical role in managing the demands of the company's internal business needs as well as the IT needs of the customers to whom they provide IT services. You will be the global point of contact externally for many of the critical mega-vendors for Telecoms Products & Services that are supplied to the company's customers. You will be responsible for negotiating global enterprise agreements and internally managing senior executive and board-level stakeholder relationships. It's therefore essential that you have excellent knowledge of the global telecoms and relevant software services landscape and exceptional skill in global contract negotiations to ensure the business obtains the most favourable terms. Responsibilities: Providing subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders on any matters relating to global software and telecoms services procurement. Leading negotiations with top global software & telco vendors such as SAP, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Citrix, Cisco, Orange, Vodafone & others. Delivering long-term global category management strategy to leverage business volume and future demand. Ensuring effective delivery of global category strategy across the network of local buyers worldwide. Challenging internal IT business stakeholders on their requirements and cost budgeting. Necessary skills and experience required: Proven track record of leading a global software and telecoms procurement portfolio and managing relationships with top-tier global vendors. Degree qualified to BSc level or relevant work experience; additional procurement qualifications or MBA highly desirable. Experience in negotiating complex global contractual agreements for software services and software licensing. Excellent communication skills in English; fluency in French, German, or other EU languages highly beneficial.
