.GreenCoLab is hiring: Programmes and Funding Manager (PhD) (M/F) | EN Vacancy Purpose ASSOCIAÇÃO OCEANO VERDE – LABORATÓRIO COLABORATIVO PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO DE TECNOLOGIAS E PRODUTOS VERDES DO OCEANO (hereinafter referred to as GreenCoLab) opens recruitment and selection tender for 1 Manager (M/F) for a vacancy to satisfy temporary needs under an uncertain term employment contract under the scope of application ALG-05-3559-FSE-000022, called Hiring Highly Qualified Human Resources, financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Social Security Budget (OSS), through the Algarve Regional Operational Program, to support the work carried in the context of the GreenCoLab R&I agenda. Programs and Funding Manager (PhD) The selected researcher will be responsible for scouting and managing projects, ensuring the correct interaction with the team to fulfil deadlines of reports, milestones, and deliverable submissions. Additionally, the researcher will be responsible for the elaboration of new projects complying with the objectives of the GreenCoLab R&D Agenda and novel applications to competitive funding. Tasks: Ensure the timely execution of technical and financial reports of projects. Gather information from working group leaders to write project reports, deliverables or milestones and ensure their timely submission to the coordinating institution or funding agency. Coordinate events such as project meetings, workshops, or seminars together with the GreenCoLab team. Interact with GreenCoLab working groups to find synergies to lead new project proposals or join existent project consortia. Present expertise of GreenCoLab to institutions or companies that can result in joint projects. Prepare novel applications and projects for different competitive funding calls. Profile required: PhD in Marine Science, biology, biotechnology, business management or related fields; Proven experience in fundraising and knowledge of national and international science funding programs; Proven experience in preparation of applications for scientific projects; Proven experience in science institutions management and project management; Proven experience with project coordination, elaboration and dissemination; Previous scientific experience in algae feedstocks; Have proven fluency in the English language (written and spoken); Failure to meet these requirements determines the rejection of the application.
