The applicant will be part of the project development team of green hydrogen in Portugal, assessing prospective project stakeholders and ensuring that the different project streams progress towards FID.
Main responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive territorial management to identify optimal locations for green hydrogen project development, in line with strategic objectives.Apply GIS tools for mapping and analysis to pinpoint sites that meet project criteria.Understanding of municipal and national regulations, including zoning and master plans, to ensure projects comply with current legal frameworks.Prepare and submit project documentation across various regulatory bodies.Conduct site visits to assess viability and strategic fit for project success.Develop detailed project timelines, aligning with administrative processes and submission deadlines.Collaborate with environmental consultants and the engineering department to integrate project-specific data and insights.Engage with landowners for the acquisition of project sites.Demonstrable business development and sales skills with technical background in Portugal's chemical, solar PV and/or renewable gas market.Broad network in the solar PV, chemical and/or renewable gas.At least 2 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy sector.Comprehensive understanding of the Portuguese regulatory landscape concerning hydrogen and renewable gas infrastructure.Fluent in Portuguese and English, with proficiency in Spanish and German considered a plus.Attributes: Ability to work autonomously and proactive attention to detail.Time management.Verbal and written communication.Ability to work within a team and support team members.Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, or a relevant discipline.Other requirements: Driver's license and availability to travel.How to apply?
