We are seeking a GME Team Leader – Global Medical and R& D, who will be responsible for developing, coaching and managing a globally-based team of event Project Managers. This role will also lead their own events to lead by example, driving best-in-class meeting and events planning services. This includes vendor review and negotiation, overseeing website development, attendee management, compliance and final program billing and reconciliation. Travel will be required to manage on-site logistics for larger, more complex meetings, up to 30%.Accountabilities:As a GME Team Leader, you will have strong leadership, project management, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills. You will be a self-starter, able to work with little supervision, knowing when is appropriate to escalate to management. You will be expected to use our project management and compliance software, Cvent, to input and track all event data as well as maintain strong document retention.
