The Company The company is a leading EU-GMP European vertically integrated Multi-Country Operator (MCO) in the global cannabis industry. Specializing in premium medical cannabis products, they boast the largest and most advanced EU GMP-certified cannabinoid-containing pharmaceutical extract portfolio. Job Summary Our client is seeking a seasoned Global Sales Director to s pearhead their sales teams in Europe, APAC, and South America. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in these dynamic markets. You will develop and execute sales strategies, foster strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role demands a deep understanding of international sales landscapes and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage an international team of sales professionals, to expand the team as the business grows. Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to each regional market. Manage budgets, coordinate departments, and identify new business opportunities. Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across various international markets. Work closely with regional partners, customers, and stakeholders to understand local market dynamics. Team Management: Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the sales team. Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Sales Innovation: Drive innovation in sales processes and approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities. Use data analysis and sales metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance. Qualifications Deep Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in senior sales roles with a significant background in the cannabis industry. Global Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing sales teams across diverse international markets, particularly Europe, APAC, and South America. Hands-On Leadership: Proven ability to excel in both strategic leadership and frontline sales execution. A track record of inspiring and motivating teams through direct customer engagement
