Role Purpose:
You are responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance execution across all regions and units.
This role focuses on enhancing workforce productivity by standardizing maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order management processes.
By addressing inefficiencies and reducing waste, you will drive improvements in maintenance productivity, aligning with world-class standards.
Role Responsibilities: Process Standardization:
Develop and implement standardized maintenance planning and scheduling processes to minimize regional and unit discrepancies.
Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and KPIs to ensure consistent execution and accountability.Efficiency Improvement:
Optimize resource allocation to minimize delays, reduce idle time, and increase overall productivity.
Strive to elevate maintenance productivity from industry averages to world-class levels.Reliability and Risk Mitigation:
Proactively identify and manage potential risks and obstacles through effective planning and scheduling.
Develop contingency plans and anticipate challenges to minimize disruptions and mitigate risks.Cost Control:
Contribute to cost control by optimizing resource utilization, reducing delays, and preventing rework.
Ensure financial performance improvement by minimizing project overruns and keeping costs in check.Communication and Collaboration:
Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members through a robust planning and scheduling process.
Ensure all team members are aware of their responsibilities, timelines, and dependencies to enhance coordination and teamwork.Education: Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or related field) is required.Advanced Degree (Preferred): A Master's degree in Maintenance Management or a related discipline is preferred.Professional Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent are highly desirable.Experience: Industry Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance and reliability within a relevant industry, such as manufacturing, oil and gas, or utilities.
This experience should include a proven track record of implementing successful maintenance strategies and reliability improvements.Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing teams and projects.
This should include experience in mentoring and developing professionals, as well as leading cross-functional teams.Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of maintenance and reliability practices, including predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance.Change Management: Experience in driving change and implementing new processes or systems within an organization, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.GENERAL INFORMATION:
