Join our team as a Global Category Manager and contribute to Infineon's success!As a Global Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies that drive cost savings, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships across our global organization, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
In your new role you will:
Be accountable for one or more global procurement categoriesand its suppliers,acting as main interface to Infineon's suppliers, monitoring market developments, developing differentiated cooperation models, leading business awards, and steering the operational procurement of goods & services
Contribute to Infineon's top and bottom line, as per Target Cost Roadmap (L)TCR, bysecuring supply and sourcing competitivelyto support profitable growth
Develop and implement category/supplier strategies,collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders as well as other Procurement teams, not only during strategy preparation but throughout the year
Define, monitor, and act on related KPIs( savings, payment terms, etc.)
Source competitively in global markets, for best suppliers and solutions that fulfill Infineon's product & cost requirements, leading major, global negotiations & contracting
Apply best-in-class procurement methods, cost modeling, benchmarking, advanced negotiation methods, design for sourcing, and monetized TCO, toenable comprehensive value analysis, negotiation events, and decision-making
Utilize market intelligence tobuild resilient supply chains(incl. managing supply crises & recovery) andoptimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
You have strong communication and collaboration skills allowing you to work effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams. You possess a strong strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and define improvement measures. Furthermore, you are adaptable and results-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Adegree in Business Administration,Supply Chain Management,Industrial Engineeringor similar field of studies
Between 7-9 years relevant working experience, with3+ years in Category Management positions– Professional Services experience is a plus
Strong experience incommercial and contractual negotiations
A verygood understanding of the full procurement process, including operational procurement, supplier management and strategic procurement
A proven track record of interpreting internal or external issues and recommending solutions/best practices
Fluency in English(mandatory) -Germanis a plus
