In her/his role of Accounting Manager, the jobholder will :
Lead and manage in full responsibility the operational Accounting services for legal entities.
Lead and develop leaders, mainly in the area of Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables and General Ledger. The team is actually composed of 50 highly specialised accountants and the team responsibility is planned to grow mid-term to more than 200 accounting professionals.
Be co-responsible for piloting the E2E processes, like S2P (Source to Pay) and O2C (Order to Cash).
Monitor the performance levels (On-time/On-Quality/On-cost delivery) defined for the GBS
Secure that the GBS' companies close in time and in line with the accounting procedures
Develop the organisation and processes to facilitate continuous improvements and harmonisation
Develop People ensuring training, methodologies and digitalization in order to obtain an innovative minded and adequate skilled workforce.Finally, the Accounting Manager will work hand-in-hand with the GBS Procurement Services stream leader and others in order to set up an efficient End-to-End (E2E) process including the implementation of the supporting IT tool(s) with the first target to improve significantly the "Time to Book" and the "Book to Pay" of Airbus suppliers' invoices.
Perfil idealRequirements - our ideal candidate will have
The jobholder will have an Accounting background of 5 to 7 years, experience within a Shared Service environment, and the potential to be developed into Managing and Structuring larger organisations.
In terms of Hard skills, the jobholder will demonstrate knowledge in Accounting Standards such as IFRS, strong understanding on Accounting Process and its monthly interaction from subledger to General Ledger.
He/she will demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, and will be fluent in English both written and verbal. French and/or German would be a plus.
Continuous improvement and process simplification/standardisation skills are also key success factors in the position.
A previous experience in People management of 3 years minimum is required with a natural leadership to embark, engage and retain his/her team leaders and team members.
In terms of Soft skills, before all, the jobholder will be "delivery" oriented with a strong focus on customers satisfaction and people engagement.
He/she will have a strong ability to convince and influence, communicate effectively. He/she will be a team player and will be comfortable to lead and work with remote working. He/she will always act with integrity and equity, in full compliance with processes and regulations. A specific attention will be brought to the Ethics of the jobholder.
