As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial records, as well as providing accurate and timely reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the general ledger, ensuring proper and timely month-end and year-end closingPreparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standardsPerforming balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining supporting documentationHandling intercompany transactions and reconciliationsMonitoring and ensuring accuracy in accruals, prepayments, and provisionsSupporting internal and external audits, providing necessary financial documentationParticipating in process improvements and system enhancements to streamline accounting operationsCollaborating with various departments to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial dataPerfil ideal The Successful Candidate
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
Proven experience in general ledger accounting, ideally in an international settingStrong knowledge of accounting standards (such as IFRS or GAAP)Proficiency with accounting systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)Excellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsFluent in English; additional languages are an advantageVantagens What's on Offer
