Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Platform Manager for Software Development Tools to join our Körber OneIT Corporate Department. This strategic position requires a professional with extensive experience in managing software development and DevOps platforms in a global, multinational context. The ideal candidate will be accountable for supporting the consolidation of software development tools into a unified GitHub Enterprise environment, managing these platforms centrally, and developing a comprehensive support strategy. This role includes significant responsibilities for platform operations, strategy execution, stakeholder communication and governance.
Key Responsibilities: Platform Strategy: Support the implementation of a global roadmap for GitHub Enterprise and other software development tools, supporting the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and processes in collaboration with software departments.Platform Consolidation: Support the consolidation of decentralized software development tools into a unified GitHub Enterprise environment.Central Management: Oversee the central management of these platforms from the Körber OneIT Corporate Department, ensuring consistency and alignment across different regions.Operational Support: Manage all operational support tasks and contracts related to these platforms, ensuring robust and reliable performance.Stakeholder Communication: Actively engage with software department teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of platform strategies and developments.Governance and Compliance: Support the governance and management of these tools, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines, robust security, and compliance.Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support for GitHub Enterprise and other specialized tools, ensuring optimal utilization and performance.What We Expect from You: Experience: Experience in managing software development and DevOps platforms, particularly GitHub Enterprise, within a global, multinational environment.Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD automation, artefact management, and other specialized software development tools.Consulting Skills: Ability to deliver flexible solutions tailored to business needs, with a strong consulting mindset.Service Delivery: Knowledge in providing professional IT services for software development and DevOps teams.Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development tools and concepts, with a technical background in platform management.Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling active stakeholder communication and business connections.Governance and Compliance: Understanding of governance and compliance requirements for software development platforms.Global Perspective: Experience working in a global, multinational environment, understanding diverse business requirements and cultural contexts.We value diversity and therefore welcome all applicants - regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic or social origin, religion/belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity, and any other protected status.
