This is a fully remote role available exclusively to those based in Portugal. As a Customer Support Advisor, you will be the primary contact for both customers and travel agents, assisting them with inquiries related to cruise bookings and managing both pre- and post-booking requests. Although the role involves some sales elements such as cross-selling or upselling cruise-related services, the main focus is on delivering excellent customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to incoming calls from customers and travel agents, addressing questions about cruise bookings, destinations, pricing, required documentation, and various cruise services.
Provide clear and accurate information on available cruise packages, itineraries, and ship details.
Guide customers through the entire process of booking and assist them with pre- and post-booking needs to ensure a seamless experience.
Managing Bookings: Assist customers with modifying, upgrading, or cancelling their bookings as required.
Provide travel agents with support for managing their clients' bookings and offer guidance on cruise options and packages.
Cross-Selling and Upselling: Recommend additional services that can enhance the customers cruise experience, such as excursions, onboard amenities, or travel insurance.
Offer customized cruise packages based on customer preferences, with a focus on providing helpful options rather than aggressive sales tactics.
Post-Booking Support: Assist customers with inquiries or concerns after theyve made a booking, including issues related to payments, required travel documentation, or special requests like room preferences or dietary accommodations.
Resolve any post-booking issues to ensure the customers experience remains positive.
Resolving Customer Issues: Address and resolve any complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring the customer feels valued and satisfied.
Work closely with internal teams to escalate complex issues when necessary, ensuring quick resolutions and a positive outcome for the customer.
Qualifications and Skills:
Native-level or fluent German speaker (C1 level or above), with strong communication skills in both spoken and written German.
Strong command of English for communication with internal teams.
Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar field is advantageous but not requiredtraining will be provided.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly and effective manner.
Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM systems) are beneficial.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
