JOB DETAILS: Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required) Work model: Remote DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES: As an Infrastructure Engineer at Top Sigma, you will: Design and implement resilient, secure, and cloud-agnostic infrastructure across multiple regions.
Set up and manage GCP environments, including networking architecture, IAM roles, and security configurations.
Implement a hub-and-spoke model in GCP for multi-tenant environments, in close collaboration with the architecture team.
Deploy and maintain GKE clusters, Istio service mesh, and Kubernetes services across GCP and Azure.
Utilize GitLab CI/CD for infrastructure automation.
Ensure solutions meet high availability, resilience, security, and performance requirements.
Apply security best practices, compliance standards, and governance policies to infrastructure.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and integration.
Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation.
REQUIREMENTS: +7 years of professional experience with GCP.
Deep understanding of networking , including s ervice meshes (Istio) and multi-cluster Kubernetes setups.
Extensive experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerized environments.
Proficiency in Terraform and Helm for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments.
Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Proficient in Python and GoLang for scripting , automation, and custom controller development.
In-depth knowledge of security best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
Familiarity with cloud architecture best practices and well-architected frameworks.
Experience collaborating with architecture teams.
