Job Overview And Responsibilities
Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group's transformation.

We are looking for an inspirational, highly skilled Head of GBS Transformation and Service Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
One of the key initial responsibilities will be to search (internally and externally) for and hire a highly skilled GBS Transformation and Service Excellence Leadership Team (LT), including:
PMO Lead, Projects and Transitions Manager
Service Performance and Service Catalog Manager
Service Excellence Manager
Automation Manager
Transformation Managers
Once these roles are hired, you will be responsible for leading, inspiring and managing this team on an ongoing basis, collaborating with the Head of GBS and the GBS Service Line Managers
Be part of the GBS Leadership Team
Transformation: Set the strategy - aligned with the Syensqo strategy - for GBS
Create and own the transformation plan for GBS, delivering process transformation and automation and the associated productivity benefits
Create the transformation capability to enable GBS to achieve its ambition of becoming a Next-Gen GBS organisation. Collaborate with consulting organisations GBS partners with on creating the Next-Gen GBS
Lead on establishing the GBS business case, identify opportunities to deliver the business case and take responsibility for realising the business case, working closely with Service Line leadership
Staying abreast of developments in the market, to bring the latest thinking and best practices to GBS
Set the standards and frameworks for PMO, ensure adherence on all projects and transitions and ensure the success of projects and transitions undertaken by GBS
Set the Service Performance standards for GBS and maintain the GBS Service Catalog
Set the automation strategy and approach for GBS, ensuring alignment with the Syensqo automation strategy (including AI), and deliver the automation requirements of GBS. Ensure a close collaboration between the Service Excellence and Automation teams
Set the digitisation strategy for GBS and implement the plan to move from the current manual measurement and reporting of KPIs and SLAs to automated data collections and digitised performance reporting
Service Excellence: Set the Service Excellence strategy and approach for GBS
Establish the continuous improvement methodology for GBS, including the approach for establishing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement in the GBS operations and service lines, across all GBS service centers
Work with the Service Line Leadership and operational managers to support them and identify opportunities for process improvement and transformation (standardisation, simplification and automation), shortlist prioritised opportunities (with a business case) and implement approved initiatives
Stay abreast of market developments and bring leading practices and technology solutions to GBS e.g. the use of task mining to identify actionable insights, analysis and initiatives for implementation
Stay aligned with the ERP re-build team to ensure Syensqo gets the best out of the investments in S/4HAN and other applications
Education And Experience: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree.
Proven experience of minimum of 10-15 years in a shared services environment, with deep knowledge and experience in at least one of the GBS Service Lines (currently Finance, Credit Management, Procurement and HR)
Experience in at least one of the areas you will be leading e.g. Projects and Transition Management, Service Excellence, or Automation
