As General Ledger Specialist you will:

Perform accounting operations on topics such as corporate insurance, bonus, HR premium allocation, restructuring provision, and take all the necessary actions to have accurate data, and to respect closing deadlines.

Manage GL Master data (chart of account/ GL tables/ accounting scheme /document type).

Participate in improvement accounting projects.

Work on the assigned transversal topics:

Solve accounting and technical issues.

Answer external auditors' requests.

Ensure closing tasks.

Perform internal controls.

Improve processes.

Ensure consolidation Actual 0 process, e.g. updating information about company shareholding & equity (follow up, consistency checks, quarterly reports, …).

Participate in the audit coordination if needed.

Education and Experience

Postgraduate with a degree in Accounting.

Experience in accounting (at least 3 years of experience in accounting and/or audit).

Skills and Behavioral Competencies

Accounting knowledge in IFRS.

Good SAP knowledge.

Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.

Work collaboratively with others.

Ability to learn new domains.

Open-mindedness for a multicultural environment.

Good communication skills.

Autonomous.

Proactive.

Language Skills

Fluent in English.
