As we continue to grow and expand our global footprint, we are looking for a Pricing, Planning and Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a vibrant and passionate team dedicated to making a significant impact in the fashion industry.Position Overview:The Garment Pricing, Planning and Purchasing Specialist will play a pivotal role in optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations within our garment manufacturing company. This individual will be responsible for managing and reducing costs, ensuring the timely procurement of materials, and planning production schedules to meet client demands. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of the garment industry, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.By integrating these responsibilities and qualifications, the Garment Pricing, Planning and Purchasing Specialist will be instrumental in driving efficiency, reducing costs, creating effective pricing strategies, and ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. This role is critical to our mission of delivering high-quality garments to our customers on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of garment production costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, transportation expenses, and associated expenses. Conduct variance analysis between estimated and actual costs, identifying reasons for differences.Purchasing: Oversee the procurement process for all raw materials. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Ensure the quality and timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules. Evaluate supplier performance and manage supplier agreements.Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement purchasing plans to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of fabrics, trims, and other components for garment production. Stay abreast of market trends and cost pressures, such as supply chain disruptions and geopolitical issues, to anticipate and mitigate risks.Cost Forecasting: Develop and maintain a detailed cost database for all garments. Utilize historical data and industry trends to develop accurate costs for upcoming garment collections.Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce production costs, without compromising quality.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, production, merchandising, quality, and finance, to align purchasing strategies with overall business objectives and support the successful execution of garment collections.Reporting: Provide detailed cost analysis and reporting to senior management, with actionable recommendations to aid in strategic decision-making.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.Proven experience as a Cost Specialist, Cost Analyst, Purchasing Manager, or a similar role, preferably in the garment or fashion industry.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in cost accounting principles.Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel or other relevant tools.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.Benefits:Competitive salary.Health and wellness benefits.Employee discounts on products and services.25 days of vacation.Opportunities for career growth and development.Tipo de oferta: Full-timeHorário de trabalho: Período diário
