Who We're Looking For We are seeking a full-time Senior Unreal Gameplay Engineer for current and future games at our growing remote studio! Working on the border between engineering and game design, you'll create the movement and camera controls to deliver rich and tactile gameplay. You'll craft game systems to let our players navigate a magical wilderness in a way that's playful, intuitive, responsive, and immersive. This work will break new ground in third-person character motion as we build an ever-changing online game. Responsibilities Take ownership in the design and implementation of our game's character and world, implementing core systems that will support ongoing development of our game for years after launch. Advocate for excellence in gameplay systems across the entire studio. Work closely with design, art, QA and other disciplines, providing your technical expertise to inform their decisions and incorporating their needs into your work. Qualifications You should have a minimum of six years of industry experience across one or more shipped titles to be considered for this role. Ability and drive to contribute innovative and original ideas across all aspects of the game's design. Ability to navigate ambiguous problems, iterating to create amazing experiences for players. Expertise in Unreal 5, C++, and Blueprints. Readiness to build trust through fairness, intentionality, and inclusivity. Located in PT, MT, CT, ET time zone, or willing to relocate. Bonus Qualifications Worked on real-time networked titles.
