About the job:
? Create and implement game logic and AI systems for online casino games, ensuring high-quality gameplay and user experience;
? Develop mathematical models to ensure fairness and unpredictability;
? Write clean, efficient code to enhance performance and scalability;
? Tackle and resolve technical challenges related to game logic and AI;
? Collaborate closely with designers and developers to seamlessly integrate advanced game functionalities;
? Analyze gameplay data to improve AI algorithms and player experience;
? Optimize AI performance for different platforms and devices;
? Continuously enhance our development tools and innovatively address challenges with advanced algorithms;
? Explore new technologies and approaches to keep our gaming solutions at the cutting edge;
? Engage in research to explore innovative AI techniques and integrate them into the games;
? Work closely with other stakeholders to understand player needs and incorporate feedback into game logic;
? Manage projects independently, ensuring timely completion.
Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field;
At least 2 years of professional experience;
Experience with Git;
Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code.
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
Good understanding of programming paradigms, such as OOP and functional programming;
Strong understanding of probability, statistics, combinatorics, and general mathematical principles related to game design and mechanics;
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
Effective at teamwork and highly self-motivated with strong independence;
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of game logic and AI;
Familiarity with Agile methodologies;
Fluency in Portuguese and strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
Based in or near Porto, Portugal, with a preference for in-office collaboration.
