Our brand-new office in Porto is looking to hire additional team members. We have fantastic opportunities for experienced Full Stack Software Developers to come and work with us and play a key part in developing our existing and new products, the very latest technology. Collaboration is key, that's why it's an office-based role, you need to be able to access all the various end point equipment on site too, something that can't be done remotely.
VITEC developers in Portugal keep the IPTV platform in the forefront of streaming video technology. Seamless integration with IP (Internet Protocol) video solutions enables live TV and video to be quickly incorporated into impactful signage screens that engage, inform, and entertain. VITEC's IPTV platforms offer very robust video streaming capability with minimal maintenance costs.
We are an international company, English is our main language, therefore, it is essential you can read, speak, and write technically in English.
About the role
You will innovate and develop our products and applications, delivering high quality TV and video over enterprise IP networks. The scope of possibilities is endless as the team are constantly developing new ideas and products.
We challenge our R&D teams to develop and build applications that span our range of IPTV products, from head end bringing video content into the system to displaying on the latest cutting-edge signage panel and smart TVs.
VITEC products are everywhere, you will have been 2m from one and not known, anywhere there is video we will be there. Hotels, stadia, airports, corporate offices, well known broadcasters, government… everywhere. Displaying digital signage or in room entertainment or at an editor's desk.
About you
You'll code in at least one of our core languages, either:
JavaScript
C or C++ or C#
We are looking for flexibility and you will work with other languages, so an understanding of the other core language is helpful.
You will have achieved a technical degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline.
You'll also have Experience in one or more of
