About the role: We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to take on the responsibility of end-to-end development for our innovative life-saving platform.
In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing Carbyne's life-saving products.
Your contributions will extend beyond coding, directly impacting the future of 911 emergency communications and enhancing public safety as we know it today.
Here's what you'll be working on:
Develop an emergency 911 eco-systemDesign, develop and maintain highly resilient services with fault-tolerant and self-healing functionalitiesBuild modern, complex Web Apps and UI components.Develop our solution across global regions to provide any person in the world the ability to contact emergency services as quickly and effectively as possibleEnable Carbyne's business growth by opening up the system to business partnersExplore opportunities to apply AI technologies to 911 emergency communicationsMinimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Computer ScienceMinimum of 4 years of experience in Backend Development, with a focus on Microservices (Experience in Scala is a plus, but we welcome expertise in any backend technology)Experience in Frontend Development (We use Angular but we welcome any other language)Experience with cloud-based development, especially AWS - AdvantageSkilled in creating RESTful APIsProactive / "Can-do" attitude and excellent interpersonal skillsOur Promise: Carbyne believes that every person has a right to equal employment opportunities without discrimination due to race, ancestry, place of origin, color, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, family status, disability, pardoned record of offenses, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
