SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a platform as a service (PaaS) offering for managing and developing applications in the public cloud. Our team, FP Core Experience Multi-Cloud (CF) & Neo, builds and operates the foundation that enables internal stakeholders to create superior experiences for SAP customers.
We are looking for an experienced developer associate or graduates with full-stack knowledge to join our Cockpit core development Team to create value for a large customer base of BTP in the Multi-Cloud (CF) Environment.
BTP Cockpit acts as a frontend 'face' of 50+ live BTP Services in the Multi-Cloud environment. The Cockpit is developed as an inner-source project from one core team in Walldorf and 30+ contributing teams across the globe.
As a Developer Associate (f/m/d) in our team, you will: Develop new improvements to BTP Cockpit using frameworks of JAVA and front-end technologies like SAPUI5.Implement Automated Tests using frameworks like JUnit, Jasmine, Mockito, etc.Build automation pipelines for the continuous integration and delivery of the development changes using Jenkins, Groovy, Python, bash, etc.Ensure continuous operation of BTP Cockpit across the different Hyperscaler deployment regions on AWS and support private deployments like NS2 and AliCloud.Learn best practices in software development for large-scale cloud solutions and contribute towards fulfilling corporate compliance, Top X product standards, Code Quality, and Automation.What you bring: BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.Technical skills to build and operate a cloud service or a full-stack web application using JAVA/JavaScript/SAPUI5 and related frameworks.Experience with agile development practices, test-driven development, pair programming, and code reviews.Experience in building and operating CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.Experience working with Cloud Foundry stack and other BTP Services is an added advantage.Good English language skills.Curiosity to learn and a growth mindset.Meet your team:
