Job Summary A Senior Software Developer for Edge and Cloud Applications expert in Python with a passion to push technology forward.
Responsibilities Be the link between data analysis and real-time edge/cloud computing Develop code that will be used for data processing in the cloud as well as on Linux-based edge PCs on wind turbine generators. Redesign and refine algorithms developed by our data analysis team to integrate into our microservices-based real-time data processing framework with a focus on performance and robustness Develop and maintain Python libraries to support our data analysis team Interface with external field busses (e.g., CAN/CANopen, PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, ...) Integrate external devices (e.g., fiber optic measurement devices) into the data processing framework Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis using data visualization tools and presentations Work with stakeholders to identify data needs and requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision making Identify and resolve data quality issues Develop and implement data security and privacy policies and procedures Be up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in data analysis and infrastructure
