Job Summary
We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our embedded finance project team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our platform, focusing primarily on Web UI development to support our product and marketing efforts. Utilizing best UX practices and patterns, you will work alongside exceptional engineering and design teams. Our team values collaborative problem-solving and creating high-quality software and UI. Key Responsibilities
Think critically and challenge assumptions
Ensure the reliability, security, extensibility, and accessibility of our UI components and libraries
Enhance the frontend tech stack to improve load times and reduce bundle size
Develop new website features and functionalities to drive measurable outcomes: increased engagement, better conversion rates, and easy navigation
Collaborate with the development team (both backend and frontend) to integrate frontend components into larger systems
Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to our coding standards
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality
Qualifications for a Successful Frontend Software Engineer
Extensive experience with consuming REST APIs
Strong understanding of UI building tools
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Vite (experience with other frameworks/libraries is a plus)
Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience collaborating with graphic designers and converting designs into visual elements
Experience with design systems and implementing designs in code
Proficient understanding of Git and Docker containers
Familiarity with continuous integration
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with marketing tools such as Hubspot.
Additional Preferred Experience
A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
Previous experience in the Finance sector is a plus
Understanding of accessibility guidelines and best practices
Experience with other frontend libraries or frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js)
Knowledge of backend technologies for API integration
