The Role Veeva is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Frontend Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our web applications.
You will be responsible for leading front-end development efforts, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web experiences. What You'll Do Design and implement innovative and scalable frontend architectures for complex web applicationsLead the development team in defining and implementing coding standards, best practices, and development processesCollaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and a consistent user experienceDevelop and maintain reusable UI components and design systems to ensure code consistency and maintainabilityImplement real-time collaboration features and manage complex state management in web applicationsStay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and frameworks, and evaluate their suitability for project needsMentor and guide front-end developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementConduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standardsClearly communicate technical ideas and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersIdentify and proactively address potential issues and risks, offering solutions and alternativesRequirements 10+ years of experience in web developmentExperience with both frontend (React) and backend development, including API design (REST, GraphQL)Familiarity with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, gRPC) and complex state management solutionsStrong understanding of design principles and accessibility guidelines (WCAG)Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challengesA keen eye for detail, meticulousness, and a commitment to delivering exceptional resultsThe ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence othersFluency in written and spoken EnglishNice to Have Experience in a lead/architect roleKnowledge of design systems methodologies (e.g., Atomic Design)Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesCompleted university degree in relevant field#RemotePortugal Veeva's headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
