Job Overview: (Remote / Flexible in Lisbon or Porto) We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freelance Sales and Marketing Manager to promote and market our range of media products to companies in various industries. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, nurturing relationships, and ultimately driving revenue growth for our media offerings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the media industry. You will work independently, set your own schedule, and have the opportunity to earn competitive commissions based on performance.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Prospecting: Identify potential clients and generate leads for our media products through outbound calls, emails, and networking. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in companies. Product Promotion: Effectively promote and market media products, including digital advertising, content services, and media solutions to businesses. Sales Presentations: Conduct sales presentations (via phone, video calls, or in-person) to showcase the benefits of our media products and how they can meet clients' needs. Negotiation & Closing: Manage negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and meeting sales targets. Market Research: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to position our products effectively. Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales progress, pipeline development, and market feedback. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure product offerings are aligned with market needs and client demands. Requirements: First language Portuguese and fluent in English; other languages beneficial. Proven experience in sales, ideally in the media, advertising, or digital marketing industry. Strong ability to generate leads and close deals independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working without direct supervision. A good understanding of the media landscape and emerging trends in digital advertising, content creation, and distribution. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels. Desired Skills & Experience: Previous experience selling media products or services is highly preferred. A network of contacts within the media, advertising, or corporate sector is a plus. Experience working in a freelance or commission-based sales role is an advantage. Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and platforms as needed. Compensation: Commission-based compensation structure with uncapped earning potential. Performance bonuses are based on meeting or exceeding sales targets. Flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely.
