If you're looking to grow and be inspired, as a Fraud Analyst in Porto, Portugal (On-Site) you will make use of your skills, supporting our client's different areas of social media. And be an active part in ensuring client guidelines, promoting, and actively participating in the service improvements provided to all users.
What you will do in this role
Prepare chargeback representing documents in accordance with specific requirements and templates based on reason codes
Determine the risk level of users based on SOP criteria
Verify user-provided documents to ensure authenticity and match system records
Make decisions to blacklist or whitelist users based on review outcomes
Identify and present observations related to potential fraud trends to senior team members
Investigate reasons for transaction rejections
Collect information through screenshots from multiple platforms
Your qualifications
Are fluent in verbal and written English (C2)
Have a university degree or equivalent educational qualification (preferably)
Have previous experience in fraud review and/or chargeback disputes (preferably in the tech industry)
Are able to understand payment methods including CCDC, PayPal, and E-wallets
Have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the review process
Are adaptable and committed to continuous learning
Have a strict adherence to organizational policies and procedures and high ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
