About team FraudThis role is within our Payment Service Operations Function, a part of Trustly's Operations unit with approximately one hundred employees across Europe. This team is responsible for Trustly's fraud prevention work and to make sure we protect us as a company and our customers. About the roleThe Fraud space is evolving and growing at Trustly. Our Payment Service Operations Function ensures Trustly's products and processes deliver robust fraud mitigation while preserving a great customer experience and supporting Trustly's growth.We are looking for an experienced Fraud Analyst who enjoys pattern detection and problem solving. The ability to navigate large datasets and draw out emerging fraud attacks and patterns. An analyst who wants to help shape our future fraud strategy using the latest approaches to fraud detection, prevention and investigation. An individual who can effectively collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.What you'll doWork in a collaborative and cross-functional way to proactively detect, quantify and make data driven decisions to reduce our exposure to fraudChampion the use of data to optimise the way we combat fraud in the business and bring new ideas on the analytics that can add valueIdentify opportunities for improvement of the current methods through data- analysis, testing and trackingCommunicate findings to the business in a structured, data-driven manner - translating complex analytics into actionable insights that drive informed decision-makingAn ability to see the bigger picture: a problem solving approach understanding the underlying business questions, using a variety of data sources and informationWho you areSignificant experience in fraud and ideally fraud analyticsAbility to effectively interpret data and identify patterns and trends using analytical and problem solving skillsStrong technical skills with SQL and able to handle complex data structures from multiple sourcesExperience with fraud detection tools and improving/optimising the coverageExcited about working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment with the ability to adapt to the business challenges in front of youStrong stakeholder management to be able to communicate clearly with other parts of the business, explain fraud and our processes and also manage expectationsExperience reviewing, documenting and optimising business processes, isn't a must have but would be advantageous.Passion for learning, able to quickly adopt new business concepts and technologiesIndependent, curious, and likes to take initiativeAre you someone who voices new ideas and acts on them?
