Workplace
The workplace is at the Center for Psychology at the University of Porto (CPUP) at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto.
Remuneration
The monthly remuneration is €3427.59, corresponding to the 1st position, level 9 of the table attached to Regulation no. 487/2020.
Hiring Regime
The Assistant Researcher will be hired on an indefinite employment contract, with a trial period of five years.
Functional Content
The Assistant Researcher is expected to carry out the following activities:
Developing research at an advanced level, supporting research groups in designing innovative methodological designs and implementing effective data management plans.
Attracting competitive national and international funding.
Collaboration in teaching 3rd cycle research methods and supervision of doctoral and master's students.
Promoting the internationalisation of CPUP.
Selection Process
Admission Requirements
Who may apply? Candidates must hold a Doctoral degree in Psychology and have a curriculum vitae that reveals a profile appropriate to the duties described.
Special admission requirements:
Experience in competitively funded research projects in Psychology or related areas.
Authorship of at least 10 international scientific articles published in indexed journals.
Solid knowledge of advanced methods in social sciences.
Preferred Requirements
Knowledge and experience in advanced methods in Social Sciences.
Expertise in advanced statistical techniques.
Proficiency in data extraction techniques.
