Preamble
By order of the Director of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP), Professor Pedro Nobre, it is hereby announced that this international selection procedure is open for a period of 15 working days from the publication in the Diário da República with a view to hiring an Assistant Researcher in the scientific area of Psychology, sub-area of Community and Health Psychology, in the field of economic evaluation of interventions for young adults and adults, on an individual employment contract for an indefinite period.
I – Job Characteristics
Scientific area(s): Psychology, sub-area of Community and Health Psychology, in the field of economic evaluation of interventions for young adults and adults
Number of positions: 1 (one)
Funding: This call for applications is open in accordance with the FCT-Tenure Program - 1st Edition.
5. Workplace
The workplace is at the Center for Psychology at the University of Porto (CPUP) at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, or at any other location necessary for the exercise of the functions for which you are hired.
6. Remuneration
The monthly remuneration to be paid is €3,427.59, corresponding to the 1st position, level 9 of the table attached to Regulation no. 487/2020.
7. Hiring Regime
The Assistant Researcher will be hired on an indefinite employment contract, with a trial period of five years.
8. Functional Content
The Assistant Researcher is expected to carry out the following activities:
Developing applied research at an advanced and international level.
Attracting competitive national and international funding by preparing applications.
Managing and communicating science and technology.
Collaborating in the teaching of 2nd and 3rd cycles research methods content.
Promoting networks of national partners and the internationalisation of the CPUP.
II – Selection Process
9. Admission Requirements
National, foreign, and stateless candidates who hold a Doctoral degree in Psychology, Health Economics, or related fields, and who have a scientific and professional curriculum vitae that reveals a profile appropriate to the duties described.
9.2. Special admission requirements
Experience in competitively funded research projects in the field of Psychology or Health Economics.
Authorship of at least 5 international scientific articles published in the field of Psychology or related sciences.
Solid knowledge of advanced economic evaluation methods.
10. Preferred Requirements
Knowledge and experience in advanced methods in the field of Health Economics.
Knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of research projects on interventions.
11. Selection Methods
Assessment of the candidates' scientific and curricular background (80%);
Interview (20%).
18. Formalization of applications

19. Notification of Results
Notifications are made by email, in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Code.
