.Overview: We are seeking an FP&A Fixed Cost Analyst to join our Lisbon Hub. As a member of the Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) HQ FP&A team, you will report to the FP&A Operations lead. This role focuses on supporting leaders with understanding and forecasting their functional costs. As the business moves through a period of digital transformation, this role will provide support on projects to standardize cost reporting and assist in the creation and mapping of a new cost center structure within HFM. Working closely with a variety of leaders across the business, as well as more than 20 site finance leads, you will coordinate inputs that provide value-added insights and analysis to enable cost management. In addition, you will support analysis on critical investments across IT and R&D to ensure the return on investment is supported and enable business leaders to hold key stakeholders accountable for achieving milestones and delivering value to the organization. Responsibilities: Support the FP&A – Operations role in the management of ~$130M of functional cost. Providing support to the leadership team on tracking / understanding their cost structure: Plan/Forecast creation for Central entities (HQ) costs (split across CCR HQ entities in Czech/Netherlands, Portugal (Lisbon Ops hub) and Germany (R&D centre Mainz)); Review of actuals against Plan/forecast; Project reporting & business case validation analysis; Month end activities (recharges, accruals, estimates, cost coding, etc.); Partner with controllership to review / validate P&L each period; Functional cost reporting to split SG&A costs by cost type & function correctly, as well as provide insight commentary related to variances from PY / Plan / Latest estimate; Collaborate with tax/controllership team to understand cost allocation / recharge expectations, and ensure Allocation is reasonable & compliant; Various approvals (Capex, expense coding/approval, etc.). Support on assumptions built in business plan assumptions on revenue projections, pricing / inflation assumptions, cost forecasts, etc. to ensure realistic calculations on return on investments: Work closely with the project managers on all assumptions that go into the business case model to ensure realistic ROI metrics are met; "Passport" reviews are ad hoc depending on project life cycle, but require attendance and support to ensure all financial considerations / risks / concerns are addressed; Track project status across various R&D / IT related projects to ensure integrity of business case is being met, and timing of any depreciation is managed.
