Food & Beverage Assistant Manager - () Porto Santo Empresas: Vila Baleira Hotels & Resorts Follows up and monitors the operation of all Restaurant and Bar staff, facilities, analyses sales and costs to ensure maximum profit for the department. Continuous control and analysis in order to optimise: Quality of products and services; Guest satisfaction; Cost of operations; Food safety. Monitors and follows up on the preparation, presentation and service of food to ensure the best quality at all times in conjunction with the Chef de Cuisine. Participates in the preparation of food and beverage menus, promoting proposals for continuous improvement taking into account local realities, trends, competition, revenues, costs, product and service proposals, days, events and special promotions. Participating in determining stocks and purchases in order to guarantee the defined quality standards. Organising weekly meetings with senior management to discuss operations and problems, presenting proposals for improving productivity, sales, quality and procedures. Organising and managing the restaurant and bar brigades. Interacts with customers on a daily basis in order to obtain feedback on the service provided. Monitors and follows up on the service provided to hotel employees in the dedicated dining areas. Participates directly in the operation whenever necessary to support the departments. Requisitos: Higher education in Hotel Management, Food Production or specialisation in Food and Beverage. At least 3 years' experience in restaurant and bar service and cost control.
