No Offer Description iBET is seeking a highly motivated Flow Cytometry Technician to join the Animal Cell Technology Unit. We are looking for a dedicated flow cytometry technician that can both take responsibility for maintenance and operation of the present and future flow cytometry equipment at iBET and guide users in their experimental design and analysis of results to further expand flow cytometry applications. Where to apply Email: Requirements Research Field: Technology » Biotechnology Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent Skills/Qualifications: Master's degree in Biological, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related areas, with an average classification of at least 15. Preference will be given to candidates with prior knowledge and hands-on experience in multicolour flow cytometry. Specific Requirements: Prior knowledge and hands-on experience in cell sorting. Prior knowledge and hands-on experience in spectral flow cytometry. Prior knowledge and hands-on experience in relevant software for flow cytometry data analysis and visualization (e.G. FlowJo, FCS express, OMIQ). Experience in cell staining for flow cytometry analysis. Prior knowledge of immunology. Knowledge of using programming languages like R and Python for data analysis and visualization. The candidate is expected to be motivated, self-driven, and have excellent communication skills. Being approachable and willing to provide advice and assistance to flow cytometry users is essential.
