THE ROLEAs a Fleet Procurement Associate, you will be responsible for the Procurement of Indie Campers' fleet in Central Europe as part of the Finance division.
You will maintain, develop, and establish relationships with OEM's and Recreational Vehicle up-fitters in your region, drive global standardization of procurement processes and reporting in alignment with strategic stakeholders, and partner with the Finance team to execute the fleet financing plan.You will collaborate with the Procurement Strategy, Operations and RV Sales team to ensure that the product conditions are aligned with business objectives, and preparation of periodic reporting for executives and stakeholders is a key responsibility.
You will report to the Fleet Procurement Director.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Own the procurement of Recreational Vehicles and Vehicle Equipment in Central Europe;Establish and develop relationships and best practices with OEM's, upfitters of Recreational Vehicles and equipment suppliers;Drive procurement process improvements, contract analysis, drafting and reporting;Work with the Finance team in the execution of the fleet finance plan;Coordinate new product developments and improvements in partnership with the Fleet Product team and collaborate with Operations and RV Sales; team to ensure that the product specifications are aligned with the objectives of the business;Prepare periodic reporting for executives and stakeholders.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar;Experience of 3+ years in procurement, ideally in the automotive industry, or 4+ years in consulting;Experience and history in engaging and building value-adding relationships with internal customers and external partners across geographies and industries;Strong analytical skills with affinity towards deal negotiations and ability to drive Procurement related KPIs;Natural commercial mindset, with exceptional great communication and emotional intelligence skills;Fluent in English (both written and verbal) mandatory.
