THE ROLEYou will be building insurance products and capabilities and optimising our performance and economics for all fleet insurance dimensions – both customer-facing and internal/structural insurance products.
As the Fleet Insurance Specialist you will play a vital role in advancing Indie Campers' insurance products across Europe, North America & APAC within a high-growth, fast-paced organisation.
The role will ultimately be responsible for the companies' insurance product, implementation and development to maximise value for our customers and improve the group's bottom line.The position will be based in our office in Lisbon and reporting to our Corporate Finance Director.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Develop a long-term insurance strategy in line with the Indie Campers Rental & RV Sales business models.Analyse and benchmark different insurance products per category, country, vehicle model and provider to identify the best products for our customers.Negotiate best-in-class insurance products across multiple countries and providers.Create and modify cross-functional insurance processes to guarantee accurate information is shared with internal stakeholders.
Build and improve insurance reports to accurately track all insurance related costs and claims.Audit claims related information to be compliant and to drive product improvements.Be the point of contact for all fleet related insurance topics and support other departments within Indie Campers.
Develop business cases for new initiatives, projects & resources to be introduced/implemented.Document current and new procedures, create decision trees & knowledge base for all fleet insurance related topics.
Monitor and drive the execution of Fleet Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar.3+ years of experience in product development role within an insurance provider or alternatively, 8+ years in Strategy and Management Consultancy.Experience in negotiations with significant exposure in the insurance industry.Experience and history in engaging and building value-adding relationships with internal customers and external partners across geographies and industries, at all levels.Strong analytical skills with affinity towards conducting detailed investigation and ability to coordinate workload.Driven by outperforming yourself while being comfortable with change, being resourceful, and constantly curious to learn.Natural commercial mindset, with exceptional great communication and emotional intelligence skills.Self-starter with ability to take on tasks independently and great team-player.Fluent in English (both written and verbal) mandatory.
