The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Fixed Assets - Advisory & Valuations team in our Lisbon office. EY has an established leading real estate practice: we address complex issues in fixed assets management and we advise our clients on analytical, technical, operational, data intelligence, and other advisory services. Your key responsibilities
Support our Fixed Assets team in strategic and operational activities;
Conduct physical inspections, assets inventory, valuations, and useful life analysis;
Assets valuation in industrial plants or utilities companies;
Preparation of commercial presentations and support to drafting of reports;
Maintenance plans advisory and optimization;
Support to digital tools for data collection and statistics analysis;
Collaborate with people across Strategy and Transactions, as well as the broader EY team to support service delivery outcomes and cross-teaming.
Skills and attributes for success
Excellent interpersonal and business skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in internal and external forums;
Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively prioritize competing demands;
A proactive, supportive, and respectful approach to their team, and able to function under pressure but also demonstrate judgment in asking for help when required;
Advanced report writing, analysis, and problem-solving;
Fluency in business English and Portuguese is mandatory both verbal and written;
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Academic education in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or similar fields of study;
At least 3 to 6 years of professional experience related to subjects such as: fixed assets management, industrial assets valuation, maintenance plans, data intelligence, or IT systems;
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel tools;
Demonstrated track record in solving complex problems and challenging projects;
ASA – American Society of Appraisers certification is valued.
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
