We are currently looking for a new member for the Planning & Reporting team to join us in the position of Analyst FP&A.
Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Maia
Requirements Degree in Economics, Management or similarBetween 1 to 3 years of experience in Auditing, Financial Controlling, Reporting or similar (experience in Big4 would be a plus)Knowledge and interest in financial accounting mattersProficient in English (mandatory)Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP knowledge would be a plusSolid problem-solving/logic reasoning and good analytical skillsCritical stance, proactivity, and attention to detailOrganizational and planning capabilities, having the ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing circumstancesGood communication and relational skills, being comfortable working independently as well as in a teamResponsibilities: Preparation and analysis of the consolidated accounts of a business unit(s)/companies, through a management perspective, to be reported on a quarterly basis to the Board of Directors, or other clients;Perform ad-hoc analyses according to the needs of the several stakeholders, which include Board, business unit(s) representatives and shareholders;Business understanding: keeps track of ongoing business performance by performing analysis to support decision making process;Regular contact with business unit(s) representatives to know which business events might impact the financial statements and answer their doubts regarding the delivered reports;Assist the business unit(s) on the budgeting process and 5-year strategic plan (from the financial perspective).At Sonae Sierra, we are committed to creating a workplace that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
