You'll also be key in helping our teams track and understand their performance vs budget.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the external accountants, as their first point of contact, ensuring they are connected with the business and that the two way flow of information is effective.Providing contextual analysis and review to the management accounts, variance analysis and other financial reports.Ensuring timely completion of annual compliance and insurance tasks.Leading on the collation of inbound KYC requests from our banking and payment partners.Managing Easol's centralised financial knowledge base, documenting, maintaining our internal financial policies and processes.Taking ownership of finance software stack and systems including expense management, reporting and approval flows.Being central to maintaining and optimising our financial controls as the team grows and brings further processes in-house.Providing back up support to the team on mission critical processes such as creator payments and financial KPI reporting.Championing efficient best in class financial operations processes and policies.Being a key point of contact for the wider Easol team on finance queries and questions and triage within the team to ensure timely resolution.Ad hoc projects, helping to shape the future of Easol's internal finance function, building smooth processes that are ready to scale.Qualifications and RequirementsYou have been working in a practice environment and are looking to take your first step into industry.You recently have completed a relevant professional qualification.You are a self-starter, driven by building things and designing smooth, efficient processes.You are highly analytical and data-driven with the ability to dissect, reconcile and interpret large sets of data.You are highly empathetic and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.You appreciate the dynamics of working in a startup or scale-up or any other fast-changing environment
