Our Valuations & Financial Modelling team sits within the Finance & Strategy business area. Due to expanding business, the firm is looking to hire a Financial Modelling & Corporate Finance Associate to provide direct support to a Project Manager and coordinate a team of analysts.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Direct support to Project Manager on ad hoc client related projects
Execute and lead Corporate Finance, Valuations and Financial Modelling related projects as well as other types of Corporate Finance and Valuations activities
Help coordinate Financial Modelling related projects, keeping abreast of best practices and new developments in excel functionalities
Help develop a comprehensive Financial Modelling training programme for the wider Corporate Finance team
Closely coordinate the work of a team of Analysts/Senior Analysts
Provide ongoing training to Analysts/Senior Analysts
Daily interaction and troubleshooting with high profile clients (primary liaison)
Handling day-to-day correspondence with clients and their representatives
Generating client facing presentations and pitch-books, data analysis and financial modelling
WHAT YOU HAVE Minimum 3 years of professional experience preparing Financial Models as a deliverable to clients, ideally in a Financial Modelling team within a Big4 Consultancy firm or similar. Investment Bank, Private Equity and Venture Capital deal team profiles with relevant financial modelling experience will also be considered.
Fluency in English at a proficient level. Previous full-time education taught in English or previous full-time employment in a country of official English language are an advantage
Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (Finance, Business, Economics or similar)
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (advanced level)
Interest in the financial services industry and good awareness of the industry
Advanced technical and analytical skills in Corporate Finance, Valuations and Financial Modelling
Extremely self-motivated professional, with the capability of self-learning new skills and spearheading the onboarding of Financial Modelling best practices across the entire team
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
Time management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work and think clearly under pressure
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
