Our goal is to exceed the expectations of every client and candidate, leaving each party satisfied.David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading tech company that is looking to recruit a Financial Manager for their Lisbon office.The Financial Manager is the de facto expert for Billing Operations and provides financial consulting and services liaison between the Customer and other client organizations to govern the overall financial relationship related communications for their customers for all technical enquiries raised with the Client.Position: Financial Manager with ItalianLocation: Onsite in Lisbon, PortugalEmployment Type: PermanentDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Forecast and track budget plans, comparing forecasts with actuals.Analyze revenue trends and pipeline for account P&L reviews, especially for large accounts.Set up, maintain, and optimize complex billing hierarchies, understanding customer IT procurement and accounts payable policies.Participate in and facilitate customer meetings and commercial governance reviews.Organize and lead billing workshops and account setup meetings.Engage with customers on financial reporting and format requirements.Manage and track customer purchase orders, including input on requisitions and the procurement process.Join annual account reviews to discuss pricing and propose changes based on efficiencies.Review and document billing protocols with version control.Support complex invoice formatting with detailed knowledge of services, inventory, and procurement policies.Supervise auxiliary financial managers assigned to the account.Provide accurate reports to senior management on account status, historical analysis, and forecasting.Contribute to special projects and day-to-day improvements as needed.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.Proficiency in Italian and English (C1).Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Microsoft Teams.Strong customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ticketing systems, and billing systems.Ability to interpret customer issues, develop action plans, and implement solutions.4-6 years of experience in Sales, Customer Service, or Relationship Management, including telecommunications and network operations.Experience in finance and operations, including billing, dispute resolution, contract review, and aged debt management.Skills in cadence management and conducting MBR/QBR/WBR.Strong stakeholder management, teamwork, and analytical skills.Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with a working knowledge of accounts receivable concepts.BENEFITS:Permanent contract.Competitive salary.Private health and life insurance from day one in the company.Working hours: Monday to Friday.Onsite Work Module.
