Join Our Team as a Financial Manager!
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Manager fluent in German to lead our financial operations and strategies. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate functionally to drive financial performance and support business goals.
Key Responsibilities for Financial Management Provide budget forecasting plans to customers, including tracking forecast vs. actual trends.
Contribute to revenue analysis, focusing on revenue actuals and pipeline for account P&L review.
Set up, maintain, and optimize complex billing hierarchies, requiring a thorough understanding of customers' IT procurement/Accounts Payable policies.
Actively participate in regular customer meetings, typically for commercial governance reviews.
Organize and facilitate billing workshops and account setup meetings.
Engage in external customer discussions on financial reporting and associated formats.
Manage and track customer purchase orders, including involvement in the requisition and purchase order process.
Participate in annual account reviews with customers, discussing and proposing price changes due to efficiencies.
Review financial management processes with customers, documenting billing protocols with version control.
Support complex invoice formatting, requiring detailed knowledge of services, products, inventory, and customer procurement policies.
Supervise auxiliary Financial Managers assigned to accounts as part of global financial management support.
Provide accurate, timely reports to senior management for analysis, account status, and forecasting.
Collaborate on special projects outside regular account responsibilities when requested.
Participate in business meetings and contribute to day-to-day improvements.
Qualifications and Skills Needed Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
Languages: Proficient in German and English (C1 level).
Software Skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Microsoft Teams.
Experience: 4-6 years in Sales, Customer Service, Relationship Management, or a similar role.
Customer Facing Experience: Experience managing customer relationships and accounts.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with telecommunications, finance, and operations.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ticketing systems, billing systems, and network operations.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, especially in billing, disputes, contract review, aged debt management, and AR concepts.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing stakeholders, conducting MBR/QBR/WBR, and cadence management.
