They were founded over 4 years ago and have over 60 employees.Position Overview:As the Financial Director, you will report directly to the CEO, playing a pivotal role in drivingefficiency and profitability across the organization. You will be responsible for all the financialstrategy for the company. You will be the most senior in the company in relation to finances.Currently, the finance team has 3 people, including a Head of Accounting. As the company is a fastgrowing scale-up, we are looking for financial directors who can be very strategic but also hands-on.Key Responsibilities:Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's overallobjectives.Leading the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting,and long-term planning.Overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial statements in accordance withlocal and international accounting standards.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal policies.Coordinating and supporting external and internal auditsIdentifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.Implementing and monitoring risk management policies and procedures.Managing the company & capital structure to ensure optimal balance between debt andequity.Overseeing funding and investment activities, including securing financing and managingrelationships with investors and financial institutions Developing and implementing costcontrol measures to improve operational efficiency.Analyzing cost structures and identifying opportunities for cost reductionProviding financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-makingBuilding and maintaining relationships with banks, investors, and other financialpartners.Requirements:Strong finance backgroundAny Finance related degree.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables/Macros), ERP systemsTrack record in Senior Finance roles.
