Your Role in Our Financial and Operational Journey In this role, you'll manage a wide range of administrative and financial responsibilities, ensuring a cohesive approach to finance and operations. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll have the chance to drive both clarity and efficiency in our financial operations, helping to foster Reia Collective's unique culture of hospitality.
Financial Management and Reporting Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely, accurate transactions and reconciliation. Generate clear, actionable financial reports that provide leadership with insights into revenue, expenses, and overall financial health. Budgeting and Expense Tracking Preparation and monitoring of budgets, helping department heads track expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate in financial forecasting, assisting with data collection and analysis to facilitate strategic planning and resource allocation. Implement efficient expense management practices, tracking expenditures and identifying any discrepancies in real-time. Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure proper liquidity and anticipate financial needs across the organisation. Perform internal analysis of COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) to identify areas for cost control and efficiency improvement across the business. Compliance and Audit Support Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, maintaining records that adhere to industry standards. Prepare documentation for audits and support the audit process by coordinating necessary reports and records. Team Training and Financial Literacy Provide support to team members in understanding financial processes and using relevant software tools. Foster a culture of financial literacy and accountability, contributing to a financially empowered team across Reia Collective. Qualifications that Set You Apart To excel as our Financial Controller, you bring:
A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Prior experience in finance and administration within hospitality or a similar industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of both day-to-day and strategic financial needs. Proficiency with accounting software such as NetBO and R365, with experience in financial reporting tools as a plus. Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. A proactive mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
