EMPRESA: AQUISAVE, LDAWe are looking for a Financial Consolidation Analyst!Reporting to the Head of Group Controlling, the Financial Consolidation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements for the organization. This role involves compiling and analysing financial data from various subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful reports to support strategic decision-making. This is a full-time, in-office position that can be executed from either Porto or Tábua.Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Consolidation:Compile and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements from multiple subsidiaries.Ensure intercompany transactions and balances are accurately eliminated in consolidation.Maintain and update consolidation systems and tools.2. Financial Reporting:Prepare consolidated financial reports and statements in compliance with IFRS.Assist in the preparation of financial analysis and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.3. Data Analysis and Reconciliation:Perform detailed analysis and reconciliations of general ledger accounts.Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.4. Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial consolidation and reporting.Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize the use of financial systems.5. Compliance and Internal Controls:Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures related to consolidation and reporting.6. Ad Hoc Projects:Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, such as mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, and regulatory changes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.3-5 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting.Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in financial consolidation software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC, CCH Tagetik, Onestream).Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Navision, SAP).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.What We Offer:Joining our team means becoming part of a dynamic and rapidly growing global organization.
