Financial Accountant

Greyhound Recycling is seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. The role reports to the Finance Manager and ultimately the Chief Financial Officer.Job Functions & Responsibilities:Month end process management.Preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports.Liaise with members of the wider finance team to understand key issues and opportunities facing the Group in order to develop work plans.Develop and implement system and process improvements.Ownership for rolling 12-month forecasts, including identifying and monitoring key actions to achieve budgets.Support the preparation of ad-hoc management presentations and requests.Development and preparation of annual budget.Managing the annual audit process.Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams.Identify and implement opportunities for improved efficiencies.Skills Required:Qualified accountant1-3 years PQEExcel proficiency: pivot tables, sumif/vlookup etc.Strong analytical approach and ability to articulate financial performance in a clear concise mannerStrong personal skills with an ability to deal with non-financial minded stakeholders in a cohesive mannerExperience with Sage is preferable but not essentialPowerpoint skills and/or other presentation tool skillsSelf-starter who is assertive and focusedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn ability to meet internal and external deadlinesStrong attention to detailJob Type: Full-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
