Finance Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, taxes, financial reporting, and financial incentives. As Finance Manager, you will be part of the Country Management Team and report directly to the Group Head of Controlling with a dotted line to the Country General Manager. Your responsibility will be to support the continued expansion of the Group in Portugal while safeguarding financial integrity, reporting, and managing key risk elements of the expansion. The scope of your role covers Finance, Risk & Compliance, Legal, Tax, and Procurement. You will act as a business partner, supporting and challenging the management team. In a financial department in perpetual movement, you will manage the whole department 'Shared Service Center Finance', a key actor in the accountancy production for the different subsidiaries of the Group. We are looking for an entrepreneurial finance professional comfortable in driving the finance function from accounting to budgeting and reporting in a startup context. The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring financing, managing cash flow, and minimizing risk exposure. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of debt and capital markets, financial reporting, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A leading company in the asset management sector aims to integrate a Finance and Accounting Manager into its structure, who will be responsible for coordinating the accounting and tax team, ensuring all month-end closing procedures.
