Finance Manager LIVE WHAT YOU WILL DO The Operations Finance Manager will be a pivotal part of our Operations Finance team, serving as both a strategic independent contributor and a guiding force for a dedicated team. This role demands a dynamic professional who thrives in influencing key stakeholders and spearheading financial planning for major organizational functions, while also driving cross-functional business cases to successful governance.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership Excellence: Lead, mentor, and foster the growth of team members within the Operations Finance Team, ensuring a culture of excellence and continuous learning.Strategic Financial Analysis: Diligently prepare, scrutinize, and present operating expense results to department managers, articulating financial strategies and outcomes with clarity and precision.Cultivating Financial Awareness: Champion the development of cash-conscious practices within the organization, enhancing financial acumen across teams.Collaborative Financial Support: Act as the financial linchpin for cross-functional teams, delivering critical support for decision-making analyses and reporting, aligned with our transformative goals and long-term vision.Robust Financial Planning: Facilitate comprehensive financial planning processes, including monthly close, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning, with a keen focus on headcount and operating expenses.Process Innovation: Propel the evolution of our financial processes, ensuring Amgen's investments yield optimal ROI and are seamlessly integrated into our long-term strategic planning.Client Engagement: Offer exceptional client support, lead compelling presentations, navigate investments through governance, and provide forward-thinking financial insights.Proactive Initiative: Embrace a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm, identify opportunities for automation and efficiency, and manage requests with effective prioritization.
