THE ROLE As a Finance Director, you will be globally responsible for the areas of Accounting, Reporting, Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Treasury. You will ensure that financial and management accounts are produced accurately and in time, maintain control over all investments, revenues, costs, and cash flow of the organisation, as well as ensure budgeting and forecasting exercises.
Your teams will also be responsible for cash management, treasury functions, and performing all required financial analysis to support decision-making in the organisation. You will manage a team of more than 20 people and must take a hand-on leadership role that supports high-level strategic decisions, implementation of processes while having operational responsibilities and not being afraid to dive into the details.
You will be joining our Financial Planning and Reporting team in our HQ, reporting directly to the CFO, and working very closely with all stakeholders across the organization.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Build and implement processes across the finance organization in the areas of accounting, reporting, controlling, financial planning and treasury, ensuring scalable and efficient operations across the globe.
This includes selecting and implementing technological solutions (ERP, PO and invoice approval flows, treasury softwares, inventory management, to name a few) that suit the business needs; Create, coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to the Executive Team and Board of Directors (financial and operational performance, projections, and other special projects as required); Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organization's needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts; Create a data driven culture with a financial mindset within the organization providing tools to the different teams to assess their performance and be accountable for their results; Prepare short- and long-term forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties; Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines in all areas of the business; Ensure timely and accurate management of all financial aspects including production of financial accounts, auditing, taxes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis; Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate financial standards and regulatory requirements; Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms' performance.
Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations; Manage all treasury processes, exchange rate risk and short to mid term cash flow planning; Monitor changes in financial regulations and legislation; Lead and motivate the financial reporting and reporting team, creating a high standards culture of ownership and attention to detail; Challenge the business and the company stakeholder to find ways to improve performance, provide insights on improvement and investment opportunities.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field; Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role in a fast paced environment; Hands-on experience with accounting softwares, implementation of ERP systems, and financial management systems at an international scale; Analytical mindset with excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tolls and methods; Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; Ability to strategically solve problems.
Structured approach to identify and solve problems and eagerness to understand and make a positive difference to the entire business - not focusing just on the numbers; Pragmatic approach, agility and ability to adapt to organizational needs; Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams; Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; Strong organizational and time-management skills; Knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices; Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are a plus.
